Midthunder comes from the Fort Peck Tribe of Assiniboine. She is originally of the Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending the majority of her youth in Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics as well as where her mother was employed at a casting facility), she returned home. Amber is Native American from her father's lineage, is a member of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber has been birthed with an adopted mother which means that Amber is not of known mixed ancestry. Prey has a predominantly Native American cast, including Dakota Beavers as Naru's brother and Jhane Meyers, who played Comanche and Blackfeet and provided an extensive amount of advice to the film. Because of the time that the film is set, it was not feasible to cast any dog. Coco, the adorable animal actor who portrays Sarii is chosen because of her unique breed of dog, known as the American Dingo. Carolina Dogs are one of oldest breeds.
TJ has a message to send through this movie. TJ narrates how Amanda is his all-time love. (Although there are some parts that is probably about her daughter, should you look at the film further). He reveals his love for her but she resisted him since she was with Daniel. Jack later got married Amanda. Emily then revealed her real name after Amanda's death. Since then, they have become best friends. The series' final episode the couple get married. Amanda gets married to Wilf in the final moments. The prize is won by one person.
